Jackapoos or Jack-A-Poos, as they are commonly recognized breed and is a mixture between a Jack Russell terrier and a poodle dog. In maximum of the cases, they inherit the poodle's intelligence and loyal nature, and are extremely active and spirited like a Jack Russell terrier.

Do not expect a Jackapoo to be 50% poodle, and 50% Jack Russell terrier. They can either be 'more of poodles', or 'more of Jack Russell terriers'. Being a perfect 50-50 is very rare. However, in most instances, Jackapoos take almost all the common traits visible in both parents and these include the agility, intelligence, and obedience.
